Factors affecting mentoring services - cross-national perspective

Abstract The research aims at the identification of factors influencing mentoring services with a particular emphasis on country origin mentor and mentee. quantitative was conducted in four Central Eastern European countries, i.e., Bulgaria, Poland, Latvia Lithuania one Southern country, Italy. implemented methodology covered Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) reliability analysis, which were performed to identify process communication mentor–mentee relationship. Moreover, diagnose statistically significant differences between individual countries terms effectiveness communication, Kruskal–Wallis H Test Mann–Whitney U Test, as well pair-wise comparisons, used. Factors relationship are traits, mentor’s personal background, professional non-verbal channels, barriers, written online quality content ability processing by There perception analysed countries. So far, no cross-country comparison has been services. As direction for future research, more detailed can be recommended concerning such Lithuania, Italy developing separate models (or EFA) mentors mentees.
